Australia is indeed the Land of Parrots. Approximately one-sixth of the worlds species are to be found here, and no other country has such a richness and diversity of forms.

Every part of the vast Australian continent is inhabited by parrots. In the luxuriant rainforests of the tropical north tiny Fig Parrots dart through the dense canopy, while in the sandy desserts of the interior, flocks of the magnificent Major Mitchell's Cockatoo congregate at scattered waterholes. Thus allowing our international visitors to share in the knowledge and pictorial representation of the exquisitely coloured parrots we Australians, and the Australian Aviculturists share our continent or aviaries with each day of our lives.
